Looking for an autoclave with a larger chamber and integrated cycle printing? The Lafomed Premium Line LFSS18AA LCD is a white autoclave with an 18 L chamber, an LCD display, USB port and integrated thermal printer. The USB connection supports saving cycle results to a data carrier. A distilled-water tank and a waste-water tank are built in, with drainage available at the front or rear.

The autoclave includes sterilisation programmes for 121°C uniform, porous and hollow loads, plus 134°C uniform, porous and hollow loads and a 135°C prion programme. Cleaning, vacuum test and Bowie & Dick / Helix test programmes are also included. Following heating, the 134°C uniform programme has a total cycle time of 7 min. The 121°C programmes take 23, 27 or 30 min, and the 134°C porous and hollow programmes take 11 and 14 min.
A user programme allows all parameters to be adjusted. Time control is 4–60 min, vacuum repetitions can be set from 1–10, and drying time is adjustable from 1–25 min. Preheating and heat maintenance are included alongside a self-diagnosis system and double door locking. Maximum operating temperature is 137°C; maximum operating pressure is 0.21–0.23 MPa. The design pressure is –0.1 / 0.27 MPa.
This autoclave machine measures 65 × 50 × 43 cm and weighs 53 kg net. It runs on 230 V, 50/60 Hz with 2.4 kW power. The safety valve set pressure is 0.24 MPa and its opening pressure is 0.24 MPa–0.26 MPa. CE 1023, ISO 13485 and BS EN 13060:2014+A1:2018 are included. Warranty is 2 years, with a further 1 year available subject to maintenance.
