Looking for a Class B autoclave with a larger chamber for the sterilization of salon tools? The Fomos Foster 12 L autoclave is designed for packaged and unpackaged, porous, solid, hollow and channelled medical and non-medical instruments. It has a 12 L chamber with a 20 cm diameter and 35 cm depth. The white autoclave operates at 230 V, has an 1,800 W power rating and reaches a maximum operating temperature of 134 °C.

The autoclave includes 134 °C Universal, 134 °C Fast, 134 °C Prion, 121 °C Universal and 121 °C Fast programmes, alongside Vacuum Test and Bowie & Dick / Helix Test programmes. Sterilization stages run for 4 minutes at 134 °C or 20 minutes at 121 °C. Drying time can be adjusted from 9–20 minutes, and the available vacuum cycle options are one or three cycles.
The LED display provides temperature, pressure and time during operation. A built-in thermal printer produces process confirmations, while the USB port enables digital storage of sterilization results. Integrated tanks are provided for distilled or deionised water and used water. The self-diagnosis system displays error messages, including door seal loss and sensor damage.
This professional autoclave has a maximum operating pressure of 0.21 MPa and external dimensions of 56 x 40.8 x 42 cm. Its stainless steel chamber includes trays measuring 14.5 x 26 cm. It meets 93/42/EEC, EN ISO 13485:2016, IEC 61010-1: 210+A1:2016, IEC 61010-2-040: 2020, EN 13060: 2014 A1: 2018 and IEC 61326-1: 2020. Operation is for qualified personnel with appropriate training.
