The ergonomic micro-motor handpiece has openings that draw dust from the treatment area towards the filter. Its Push-in and Pull-out mechanism allows bits to be inserted into the sleeve without screwing or locking. A display shows rotation speed, rotation direction and suction-power percentage. The left control adjusts speed and direction and provides a pause function, while the right control adjusts suction power.

The right control also provides access to screen-brightness adjustment, filter operating-time settings and total device operating time. A filter-change icon appears on the display when the filter bag requires replacement. The unit includes a temperature fuse that switches the nail drill off when the temperature inside the device or handpiece exceeds 85 °C. After cooling by 10–15 degrees, the error message disappears.

Openings on top of the housing provide places for holding bits during work. A silicone stand is included for placing the handpiece, alongside a tool for cleaning the handpiece sleeve. The Exo Classic is supplied with dust bags and a handpiece holder, and includes a one-year warranty.
